The first planning meeting for this year’s Fun Palace will be held on 1 September from 1-3pm at Telegraph Hill Centre, as we begin preparations for the big day on Saturday, 4 October (11:30am–5pm).

Sustainability charity, Greener and Cleaner, will be screening our film at the Hub in the Glades (Bromley’s main shopping centre) as part of their film club on 26 September at 6pm!

We are delighted to be working in partnership with St. Margaret’s House to create Many Hands: Make Mending Matter, an audiovisual exhibition capturing the people and stories behind the act of repair. Come and visit us Saturday 27th September (10am-6pm) and Sunday 28th September (11am-4pm).

Our film will be featured in the exhibition PERFECTION: a question of repair, guest curated by Celia Pym, at the Penland Gallery in North Carolina from September 23 to November 20. We’re delighted that the film will reach a North American audience.

Workshops

Creative workshops to explore themes around repair, through visual art and creative writing. These can be designed for particular groups (for example we recently ran workshops for NHS staff), or they can be open workshops for community members including families.  You can find out about these by joining our mailing list or emailing us on [email protected]

We run regular workshops  at the Telegraph Hill Centre in S.E.London, on Mondays, 1-3PM. These are drop-in workshops and open to all.  The workshops are a gentle mix of art, creative writing, and conversation, reflecting on the repair of our stuff, ourselves, our community, and our planet. We run alongside the monthly Mend it with Mo repair café and encourage those coming with objects to repair to share their stories with us.  The workshops run termly, so always check that we’re there before coming! 020 7639 0214. If you want to be kept up to date with them join our mailing list and follow us on Instagram.

Training

We run training for artists, community and health workers, and anyone interested in exploring personal and community repair. The training explores resilience, understandings of community and connection, and managing conflict creatively.  You can book one of our open workshops or email us to explore a training session designed for you.

“Really insightful training”, “Emotionally intelligent and respectful” Feedback from recent trainees working in social prescribing.
